Forest school is a way of learning outdoors. Its routes originated in Scandinavia. Forest school can take place in a school, garden to larger woodland areas. The woodland space allows students to connect with nature and their natural environment, through exploring, what is around us, the different sights, senses and sounds of the wind, birds, animals. Furthermore, students can investigate science and ecosystems. Social skills are enhanced as students learn to work with each other by participating in bush craft activities. Through discovery students experience better health and well-being.
